This setup enables 4K60fps recording, Active HDR, and low-light improvements using PureVideo mode, which applies AI-driven noise reduction and brightness enhancement. An ambient light sensor reduces flickering and adjusts colors automatically, making the camera ideal for diverse lighting conditions.

Weighing just 53g, the Insta360 GO Ultra is about the size of a smartwatch. Its built-in magnetic base allows attachment to metallic surfaces and works with accessories like the Magnet Pendant, Pivot Mount, Flexi Strap, Sticky Tabs, and even the Toddler Titan Hat Clip.
The camera is IPX8 waterproof up to 10m (33ft), making it suitable for underwater use, sports, or family activities. Its tiny size and multiple mounting options make it highly versatile for creators, athletes, and travelers alike.
Hands-Free Shooting, Connectivity, and Storage
The GO Ultra works with wearable mounts and connects via Bluetooth to the Action Pod, which has a 2.5” flip touchscreen for real-time monitoring. Children can also use the camera safely for playful shots. Cyclists and sports enthusiasts can overlay GPS, speed, and heart rate data from Strava or other devices directly onto recordings.
Battery life reaches 70 minutes standalone or 200 minutes with the Action Pod, with 80% fast charging in 12 minutes. Unlike the previous GO 3S, the GO Ultra supports microSD cards up to 2TB for quick storage swaps. The updated Insta360 app offers AI editing tools, including automatic highlights, transitions, effects, music, and the AI Family Moments feature for organizing footage of loved ones.

The Insta360 GO Ultra launches August 21, 2025, through the Insta360 Store, Amazon, and select retailers. The Standard Bundle costs $449.99 and includes the GO Ultra (Standalone Camera and Action Pod) in Midnight Black or Arctic White, Quick Release Safety Cord, Magnetic Easy Clip, Magnet Pendant, USB-C cable, and Lens Guard.
