MAVEN Filters WAVE 3, designed by filmmaker Michael Shiffler, continues the brand’s mission to simplify shooting with versatile tools. This new wave adds +2 and +4 diopters for macro work without lens changes, and a Mini Ring Light that attaches to any MAVEN filter with adjustable colour and brightness. The LPL + Diffusion Combo combines glare control with highlight softening, while Dream Soft recreates the vintage “Vaseline on the lens” effect mess-free. Star Walker enhances night skies with a bright, glowing star effect. Additional options include the IR830 for infrared photography, B&W tonal filters, multiple starburst styles, and a Laser Protector for live event shooting.
Stretch Goal Additions and Upcoming Unlocks
Following the Kickstarter campaign surpassing its $75k stretch goal, the Ghost Chaser and Double Trouble Ghost filters are now available. Ghost Chaser produces a directional motion trail, while Double Trouble applies motion blur on both sides of a subject. Future unlocks include a kaleidoscope filter for in-camera patterns, an 82mm H-Alpha for astrophotography, and Miami Sky gradient colour filters.
