Leica has unveiled its latest creations—the Leica M11 camera body and the Noctilux-M 50MM F/1.2 ASPH Lens—both available in a striking glossy black finish. Known for blending timeless design with cutting-edge technology, Leica has once again delivered a compelling rangefinder camera and lens duo.
Leica M11 Glossy Black
Paying homage to the iconic Leica M3 from 1954, the M11 Glossy Black edition showcases the brand’s dedication to craftsmanship and innovation. The camera features a durable brass chassis coated in glossy black paint, which develops a natural patina over time, revealing contrasting bronze highlights.
Underneath its stylish exterior, the M11 houses a powerful 60.3MP full-frame CMOS sensor. This cutting-edge sensor captures exceptional image resolution, vibrant colors, and impressive dynamic range. Driving this performance is Leica’s Maestro III processor, ensuring lightning-fast processing speeds.

The 2.95-inch Active Matrix TFT touchscreen, protected by Gorilla Glass 5, offers 2.33M-dot resolution for a sharp and responsive display. True to its stealthy aesthetic, the Leica M11 Glossy Black omits the iconic red Leica badge, instead featuring engraved Leica lettering on the top plate. Enhanced controls, such as a silver-chrome shutter button and cross-knurled dials for ISO and shutter speed, elevate the user experience.
For added versatility, Leica introduces premium cowhide leather accessories designed for the M11, including an adjustable strap, a system case, and a protector case, available in taupe.

Noctilux-M 50MM F/1.2 ASPH Lens
Complementing the M11 is the Glossy Black Noctilux-M 50MM F/1.2 ASPH Lens, a high-performance tool crafted for precision and artistry. The lens features a 52mm focal length, a wide f/1.2 aperture, and a 16-blade diaphragm, ensuring stunning sharpness, creamy background blur, and excellent subject isolation.
Its Leica M-Bayonet mount, equipped with 6-bit encoding, pairs seamlessly with the M11. The classic Leica engraving, red distance scale, and a retro round lens hood complete the lens’s refined design.
Both the Leica M11 Glossy Black edition and the Noctilux-M 50MM F/1.2 ASPH Lens exemplify the brand’s commitment to excellence. Priced at approximately $9,200 (£7,900.00) for the camera and $8,300 (£7,200.00) for the lens, these premium tools cater to photography enthusiasts who demand the best.
