LumaFusion Rebranded ‘Creator Pass’ Subscription Introduces Four Key New Features

LumaTouch has introduced a major update to its Storyblocks for LumaFusion subscription, unveiling new features such as Multicam Studio and Speed Ramping at no extra cost to subscribers. Along with the feature expansion, the subscription service is being rebranded as the LumaFusion “Creator Pass.”

Key New Features in Creator Pass

The Creator Pass, previously known as Storyblocks, now includes four major new features. One standout addition is Multicam Studio, an iOS-exclusive tool that allows professional-level syncing, switching, and editing of clips from multiple video and audio sources within the app.

Also exclusive to iOS is the FCPXML Export, enabling users to export a LumaFusion timeline to Final Cut Pro, continuing the editing process on a desktop platform.

Additionally, two cross-platform features, Speed Ramping and Enhanced Keyframing, make it easier for visual storytellers to adjust video speed and apply Bézier curve path editing for dynamic motion effects.

“The team at LumaTouch is dedicated to helping users dive deeper into their stories with features that make it fun and easy to create,” said Terri Morgan, co-founder of LumaTouch. “The launch of the Creator Pass is just one example of how we continually add value to our users’ experience.”

Updates for LumaFusion on Android and ChromeOS

LumaFusion for Android and ChromeOS has also received updates. While it doesn’t include the Multicam Studio and FCPXML Export features, the 2.0 update brings Speed Ramping and Enhanced Keyframing tools, as well as new track height adjustment features. The app also now includes a “What’s Happening” panel, providing easy access to tutorials and updates.

While these features aren’t new, they were previously available only through in-app purchases. The shift to include them as part of the Creator Pass is a significant change in the subscription model.

LumaTouch emphasizes that users still have the option to purchase enhanced features as individual in-app purchases without subscribing. For a limited time, LumaFusion is available for $9.99 (a 66% discount), with enhanced features priced at $19.99 each. The Creator Pass subscription is priced at $9.99 per month or $69.99 annually, which includes updates like those announced today at no additional cost.
