The AltCineCam Eclipse adopts a box-style design similar in size to the RED KOMODO, measuring 120mm in width, 105mm in height, and 130mm in depth. It boasts six custom chrome buttons, including dedicated Record and function controls, alongside a jog dial for screen customization, enabling features like false color and focus peaking.

Enhanced with a custom OLPF moiré filter, carbon fiber panels crafted in collaboration with PixelCNC, and robust build quality, the Eclipse delivers a sleek and functional design. Details regarding lens mount compatibility remain forthcoming.

It includes a 0.71x speed booster for full-frame capabilities and a unique rod mount system integrated into the body.

Meanwhile, Blackmagic Design’s own PYXIS 6K Cinema Box Camera caters to users with its full-frame compatibility and modular accessory support. Starting at $2,995, it features Canon EF, PL, and Leica L mounts.
