Viltrox has unveiled its latest innovation, the Viltrox E-Z AF Lens Mount Adapter, designed to seamlessly integrate Sony E-Mount lenses with Nikon Z-mount cameras. Known for its lens mount adapters since 2009, the Chinese manufacturer has also expanded into LED video lights, monitors, and cinema lenses like the EPIC T2.0 1.33x anamorphic series and LUNA 42-420mm cine zoom.
Features of the Viltrox E-Z AF Lens Mount Adapter
This slim adapter, measuring just 4mm, is crafted entirely from copper and promises a “zero-play design” to ensure a secure fit between lenses and cameras. Equipped with electronic contacts, it facilitates full communication between the lens and camera, enabling EXIF data transfer and direct aperture control from the camera body.
As its name suggests, the adapter supports autofocus, including modes such as AF-S, AF-C, AF-A, AF-F, and manual focus (MF). Additionally, it features a proprietary port for firmware updates, ensuring compatibility with future advancements.
